Trail Mail offers a simple mail forwarding service to caravaners/campers, travelling businesses and overseas travellers.
Register with Trail Mail before you leave for your trip, we will give you a unique registration number. Have your mail redirected to our PO Box by Australia Post or notify any other contacts/correspondents of our address. Once you are travelling simply contact us by phone, email or fax stating your unique registration number and your forwarding address and we will forward your mail to you within 24 hours of receiving your new address.
Our PO Box is cleared daily and your mail will be placed in a sealed bag and locked away awaiting your forwarding address. Trail Mail will forward your mail by ordinary mail, express post or registered mail as directed by you. Unless a particular choice is made all mail will be sent in an appropriately sized envelope and sent by the most cost effective rate.
Please be aware that its not the place of Trail Mail to decide what is or is not junk mail, so all mail received will be forwarded to you. A good idea would be to cancel any unwanted catalogues or subscriptions, as this will save you unwanted mailing costs. Once you return home simply advise Trail Mail and any mail held by us will be returned to you with any remaining money from the kitty. Any mail received after the membership has been closed will be returned to sender.

For the more important mail (e.g. your bank, insurance, drivers licence etc) simply contact and change your address with them to our PO Box. We will then keep your mail until such time as you contact us with a forwarding address and we will forward your mail with in 24 hours (excluding weekends).
How much will it cost us to use Trail Mail?
Individual Clients:
$20 per month, $50 per 3 months, $90 per 6 months, $170 per 12 months.
Business Clients:
$45 per month, $90 per 3 months, $180 per 6 months, $360 per 12 months.
Minimum 3 months advance payment or by arrangement.
We also require a $50 kitty for mail forwarding costs with the remaining balance to be refunded on your return. If the kitty needs to be topped up, we will contact you when the balance reaches $15. There is a $3 flat fee for handling up to C5 size envelopes and for larger items such as parcels there is a 40% handling fee of the cost of postage.
